Trends I Tried: Tweed, Blanket Scarf, & Kimono Sweaters

Happy Tuesday everyone! I don’t know about you but I had a super busy weekend. I’m actually thankful that the weekend is over. Competition season for gymnastics just started, and as many of you know, my family owns a gym. So, I coach there and I go to all of the meets. Which is awesome and I love it, but it’s exhausting. Especially because we hosted the competition at our gym, so I was literally there all weekend.

Anyway, I’m here to bring you some trends I’ve tried over the last couple of weeks.

1. Tweed jacket.

You might remember this look for my Style Today: Jewel Tones. This is the same exact outfit, I just added the jacket. I got this jacket for $6.00 at Kohls! I don’t know why and I don’t know how, but I sure didn’t ask any questions! This jacket is perfect for a FL fall. It’s pretty light weight, but heavy enough to keep you warm. I just love it!

2. Blanket Scarf.

Blanket Scarf

I love love love blanket scarves so I just had to get one! I found this navy and dark green one at Forever 21 for only $7. It’s the perfect size and the colors are great for fall. I wore this outfit for a day of running errands. It’s super simple. I paired the scarf with a basic V-neck, distressed jeans, and some flats. Perfect for getting stuff done!

3. Kimono Sweater.

Kimono Sweater

This kimono sweater is my favorite sweater. I got it last fall from Papaya and I still love it! It was the perfect fit over my basic grey dress. I know this look is simple, but it was probably one of my favorites to wear. I was beyond comfortable!

Thanks for checking out the trends I tried and let know what you think!

Enjoy 🙂
