The weekend is basically over. I hope you all enjoyed yours, I know I enjoyed mine! Now it’s time to buckle down and start another week. Ready, set, go.
Here’s my look for today.
If you remember, I recently wrote about a wonderful shopping spree that I went on last weekend. This skirt is one of the pieces I got! I got this skirt at JC Penny. I don’t typically shop their very often, but I had a coupon for $10 off of $25, so I figured I would look around. This skirt was on sale for $25, which means I got it for $15! I love it!
Since the skirt is leather on the front, I wanted to pair it with this soft sweater/blouse. It’s super light and feminine, so I thought it would go nicely with the leather. I got this top from Kohls last fall and it is still one of my favorite tops that I own.
I kept my accessories super simple. I just wore this statement necklace, my favorite fossil watch, and an Alex & Ani bracelet.
I chose to wear these shoes at the last second. It’s no surprise that I was running late when getting ready for church this morning, so I pretty much just threw these shoes on and asked Will if they looked okay. Once he said yes, we were out the door.
Overall, I stuck with a monochromatic look. I didn’t add in a pop of color or anything, which was hard for me, but I wanted to stick to it. I did add a little leopard in my Fossil purse though. I couldn’t resist 🙂
Lastly, I kept my hair and makeup simple. I put some loose, sloppy curls in my hair using my straightener and called it a day.
Let me know what you think of this look!
