That’s a song, right? Or have I gotten to the age where they stop writing songs about how old you are, because it’s not fun anymore?
So, yesterday I turned 23. It’s a super uneventful age. When I say it out loud, I feel like it sounds so old, but then I remember that I still feel like I’m 21, so it’s okay!
This year was a weird birthday. As most of you know, I’m a gymnastics coach and we had our first meet of the season this weekend! So, I was coaching for the majority of the day, but my girls gave me the best present by stepping up and making me a proud coach!
After we got done with the meet, me and my family met up for dinner at Cheesecake Factory! I am so blessed to have a family that takes the time to make me feel celebrated. Getting presents is fun, but the best part about birthdays is spending time with the people who love you.
Now, you know I can’t go a whole post without talking about my outfit! So, here are the outfit details.
I wore this black, Lauren Conrad Tulle skirt (this was on my Christmas List and I got one from my husband and one from my sister!) I paired the adorable skirt with a simple cream V-neck and some nude, open-toe booties! After that, I just added a lot of gold jewelry and called it a day. I didn’t want to go too over the top with this look, because I feel like that’s easy to do with a tulle skirt. So, I kept it as simple as possible.
Don’t worry, I will style this look again with a little more pizzazz!
Thank you to everyone who wished me and happy birthday and to my family for making me feel loved!
