Seasonal pieces

Good morning, guys! I am seriously dragging this Sunday morning. We have had all of our team parties at Golden City Gymnastics this weekend, including a sleepover, where no one slept! When I was a teenager, I bounced back from all nighters so quickly, but the older I get, the longer it takes to bounce back. I think I’ll be back to normal by Christmas πŸ˜‰

Today’s look is not a typical winter or festive look, but I thought it was fun!

I know we all have pieces in our closet that we consider seasonal, but I’ve been trying to break out of that lately! Part of me felt like a grandma in this look, but Β part of me felt really cool, so I decided to listen to the part of me that felt cool πŸ™‚ This is a dress you might remember me wearing in the summer (see here). I really love the flowy-ness and feel of this dress, so I wanted to rework it into a winter look.

To keep warm, I added a cable knit sweater. I love the contrast of the summer print with the cable knit sweater. I added a belt over the sweater to keep some kind of shape. I also wore my cognac booties with gold boot socks. Since this look has a lot going on, I just wore a simple rose gold watch.

Let me know what you think of this mixed seasons look!

Enjoy πŸ™‚
