Blank tank

Good morning!

I am officially done traveling for work! I will be home on the weekends with my hub and pup and I couldn’t be happier! With all of the traveling, I’ve been a little off schedule with my blogging, but I’m hoping to hit it strong now that work is settling down. This week, I’m doing my daily hairstyles on Periscope, so follow me at @shaunaelise15 to follow along πŸ™‚

Today I’m showing you (another) simple look that I wore while visiting the new Portillo’s in Brandon with friends. I love tank too because it’s like a blank canvas!

If you haven’t noticed, I’ve been really into to simple, comfortable outfits lately. Putting together a plain slate and then adding simple details to it is all I’ve been doing lately. I started with these slightly distressed jeans (Forever 21) and a washed out, high neck tank (Old Navy). I love this tank that I got for right around $6. It’s going to be repeat this summer! I added a layered necklace (Kohls) and snakeskin print sandals (Marshalls).

If you’re a Chicagoan, I’m sure you know what Portillo’s is. If you’re not, it’s a famous Chicago hotdog spot and Brandon, FL just got one! Small little BrandonΒ is now home to one of the most famous hotdog joints and I have got to say, it is delicious! If you’re in the area, try it out.

Enjoy πŸ™‚
