Strawberry Season Chic

Good morning from Texas!

Today is my last day in Texas with my athletes and I am headed home! As much as I love traveling for work, I am happy that I will be home for the whole month of February!

Today’s post is about my recent trip to Parkesdale Farms in Plant City. If you’re from the greater Tampa Bay area, you’ve probably heard of Parkesdale and their amazing strawberry shortcake!Β I used to go to Parkesdale when I was a kid, but hadn’t been in such a long time. I have a feeling it won’t be long before my next visit πŸ™‚

This day was particularly cloudy, so I decided to pull out my rain boots just in case! I got these as a gift from my sister-in-law and I love them. They have this adorable lace up detail on the back that I’m obsessed with! I put some boot socks that have a lace detail on the top under my boots to break up the black a little. I paired my rain boots with leggings and a layered, sleeveless sweater. It was a little chilly, too, so I put my military style jacket on top. Even though it didn’t rain, I felt super prepared!

If you live in or are visiting the Tamp area, visit Parkesdale Farm and grab a strawberry shortcake and a strawberry milkshake. You won’t regret it!
